March 2016: Dorchester
Dorchester (population 19,000) is the county town of Dorset, and on this occasion it fell neatly into place for me as a convenient lunch stop. I found it to be a pleasant enough place, with arguably more than its fair share of museums. Some of these seemed a trifle unexpected in a quiet little market town.
