July 2015: Lund

The small city of Lund is a mere fifteen-minute train ride from Malmö, in a northeasterly direction through the Swedish region of Scania. Lund is notable for having a 12th-century cathedral, which is one of the largest churches in the Nordic countries, and a well regarded, 350-year-old university. Other attractions include a botanical garden and an interesting open-air museum, the second oldest in Sweden.
