Sheraton Resort & Spa, Iguassu
Despite an external appearance suggesting that it may have escaped from a package holiday destination in the Med, this is a very nice hotel, and is surely the choice if visiting the Argentinian side of Iguassu. Even the check-in process gives a stunning view of the falls and, if you have a room on the same side, nothing can beat opening the curtains in the morning to be greeted by one of the great natural wonders of the world.
Thanks to Bruce's SPG Platinum status, we were upgraded to a newly modernised, top-floor room and offered a choice of complimentary amenity. A half bottle of fizz served with a generous quantity of canapés proved to be a perfect choice!
