Strahan Colonial Cottages
These cottages are situated by the main road junction in Strahan and across the street from the small, local supermarket, a short walk from the main village centre by the shore. The Police Superintendent's Cottage dates from around 1880 and apparently once served as a combined courthouse, jail, office and home for the local lawman. These days, it has been brought back to life as a two-bedroom self-catering cottage.
