Hilton Jumeirah Resort
I was allocated a wonderful sixth-floor corner suite formed by combining Room 602 (day room on the corner, with tiled floor and floor-to-ceiling picture windows) and normal King bedroom 604. I noticed that the doors were set up so that, if called for, 602 could also be combined with 601 across the corridor, which presumably is configured as a corner bedroom. I had Club access, and an absolutely top-notch facility this is too, making an excellent job of breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour cocktails. The entire hotel was noted for excellent, friendly service from staff who seemed mostly to hail from India and from the Orient. I have no hesitation in giving this property a ringing endorsement, although people should be in no doubt that it is a beach resort, not a business-orientated hotel. The nearby construction work mentioned in so many on-line reviews is largely complete and what remains is certainly not intrusive.
