InterContinental, Chicago
This hotel is very well located on
the Magnificent Mile, close to the Wrigley Building. The Water
Tower, Navy Pier and Millennium Park are all a reasonably short walk
way (in different directions, obviously!) I had booked a standard
room and was upgraded to a One Bed Business Suite, which I noticed
was selling on the InterContinental website at $600 per night
I was very happy with the room and with the room service meals, which were very nice indeed. It was spelled out to me at check-in that, whatever other hotels might do, I had full use of the minibar on a complimentary basis. The swimming pool is meant to be well worth seeing, as it dates from 1929 and was a favourite of Johnny Weissmuller.
