Flight Log 26 : AA2211

San Antonio (SAT) - Dallas Ft Worth (DFW)

I'd been re-booked onto this flight due to cancellation of AA318, which suited me just fine as I had arrived early at the airport in any case. This flight was continuing to Portland, OR. I was welcomed aboard and took my seat in the middle of the F cabin, this being the return half of my first 'YUPpie' fare. There were only 8 passengers in the cabin, which gave it a quiet and subdued feel, especially as 5B was unoccupied. Doors were closed at 1551 and we left three minutes up on the schedule at 1554, proceeding out to runway 12R for take-off. The flight time was announced as 44 minutes and we were to be flying at 27,000 ft.

The service was very similar to the previous day's trip to SAT; this time I had a G&T and the snack mix, which seemed fine as it wasn't a meal time. We touched down at an ominously overcast DFW at 1646 and made it to our allocated gate by 1658, bringing to an end this rather pleasant (and high tier point earning!) short hop.
