This is: Round The World 2006-07
I had a cooked breakfast at the Crowne Plaza which, despite the hordes of little darlings running around and screaming their sweet little heads off , was a good way to start off any day. I had to reorganise my luggage due to the on-going severe restrictions on hand baggage at UK airports, but it didn't take too long and I was soon LHR-bound once more. I knew I was likely to run into FlyerTalk friend Jenny (and Sheep!), who were on their way home from a trip to Beijing. Having braved the queues at the Flight Connections Centre, they eventually made it to the lounge and we had a quick chat before I had to go and catch my last flight of this part of the Big Trip.

Unusually, all the bags from our flight were put on Belt 6 at EDI, which is in the Customs Zone (such as it is!) I was soon aboard the crowded shuttle bus to the Secure Airpark and three quarters of an hour in the car saw me safely home.
To be resumed in February 2007 ...
