August 2014: Leiden

Leiden, just a ten-minute train ride from The Hague, is the Netherlands' oldest university town. It has a beautiful old town area, where it seemed to me that every few steps led to another picture-perfect view that demanded to be captured. The town is also home to a number of national museums and was the birthplace of Rembrandt van Rijn.
