January 2006 : Gibraltar Fun-day
This was only the second 'awayday' do organised by Pyeinthesky and
flyclub for the BA board on FlyerTalk, the first having
been to Nice in Autumn 2005. On this occasion, the proposed
arrangements worked well for me and I decided to seize the
opportunity to escape the gloom of January in Scotland for the
chance of a day in the sun. It also meant chalking up a new
destination, something that I was hoping to do several times over
before 2006 would run its course. The schedule allowed a generous
8.5 hours in Gib - enough time to see the main sights and enjoy a
bit of relaxation too. I think I'll let the pictures tell the rest
of the story of a great day out.
