I spent a week based in Bristol during the autumn of 2018, thanks to Bruce's hospitality. This enabled both of us to enjoy some local sights during the weekend, following which I made a number of solo day-trips to nearby locations. All this took place prior to a joint trip to Amsterdam and a number of locations in Northern Germany.
