Conrad Centennial, Singapore

Despite the loyalty that I'd shown to Hilton over several years leading up to this stay, this was my first experience of its upmarket Conrad brand. (Like the main brand, it is of course named after the founder of the Hilton empire, Conrad Hilton.) The hotel is part of the Suntec City complex and is within easy walking distance of attractions such as Raffles, Boat Quay and Marina Bay, while the immediate locale provides plenty of easily accessible shops, restaurants and bars.

Centennial Suite 2401

Although the receptionist said "We have upgraded you to the Centennial Suite itself", I quickly began to doubt that it was unique. The hotel's own website suggests that it is an example of a 'King Exec Premier' room. Having said that, I was still absolutely delighted with the upgrade and with the comfortable and spacious accommodation.

Executive Lounge

The Executive Lounge at the Conrad Centennial is one of those that really excels at what it does, in terms of the quality and freshness of the food offered, the general ambience and the service level from staff. Overall, an outstanding facility that did much to enhance my stay.
