The hotel's own
website says that this is an elegant and modern property,
just a few steps from Central Station - all of which I would
agree with. It is built around an impressive central atrium
which is home to the bar, restaurant, breakfast area and a
number of function areas, as well as Reception and several
shops.
My fifth-floor Business Class room was attractive, clean and
modern. It featured a Nespresso coffee machine and
free Internet access. Thankfully, it was separated from the
atrium (which it overlooked) by effective double glazing.
The only thing that looked a little out of place in 2012 was
the small cathode ray tube TV.
The breakfast spreads were
comprehensive and very well presented and I also had a most
enjoyable Saturday night dinner in the restaurant.
