Hampton Inn, Moab
This was my first stay at a Hampton Inn and I was impressed that the clerk seemed to be aware of this: "Welcome to the Hampton Inn brand, Mr *******". Although Hampton is Hilton's least prestigious brand, competing with the more upmarket motels such as La Quinta, the standard exceeded my expectations. I thought that presentation of the whole property (including public areas as well as my room) was tastefully done and that the standard of soundproofing was also good. The breakfast was definitely motel-standard, but was enough to start the day off on the right note. I received complimentary bottled water and some cookies in recognition of my Hilton HHonors status.
