Although five rows of seats were allocated for Business Class, we were in fact the only two passengers, seated in 2D/F. It was a split new A320, with a funky new lighting strip in Lufthansa yellow along the lower edge of the overhead bins. One of the flight attendants joked that we would be dining by candlelight! Boarding was completed by 2133, but we had to wait while a giant A380 at the adjacent gate got underway. We still managed to depart just ahead of the scheduled time and took off from Runway 25C at 2152.

The 'tasting menu' style of meal was perfect for this short flight and for the time of day. I drank white wine and water, with a cup of coffee to complete the light meal.
We arrived on-stand at Copenhagen at 2256, comfortably ahead of schedule.
