This is: A Taste of the Deep South (2013)
Courtyard Waterfront, Charleston
This attractive property was situated on the Ashley River, approximately 1.5 miles from the historic downtown area of Charleston. I thought the hotel looked most inviting, gleaming in the bright sunshine of a beautiful late-spring day, and I took an instant liking to it. Relative to the brand's positioning in the market, our twin room was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. Given the slightly out-of-town location, it came as no surprise that parking was complimentary.
The buffet breakfast, while nothing special, was an adequate and above all convenient way to get the day off to a good start. Although the hotel gave the appearance of being pitched mainly at tourists, it was obvious in the breakfast room that in these budget-conscious times, it also attracted a good share of business travellers.
