La Maison de Rhodes, Troyes-en-Champagne
Close by Troyes Cathedral and the former Episcopal Palace, but in a nice quiet lane, lie the Maison de Rhodes and its sister hotel, the Champ des Oiseaux. The building dates from the 12th Century and in its time has been home to the Knights Templar and to the cathedral clergy. These days, it is an 11-room luxury hotel. Quite a discovery!
