This is: Spring Fever 2008
It was another lazy day. Having failed to arrange a tour for today, my first priority after breakfast was to get one arranged for Sunday, my last day here. I'd already given up on the idea of fitting in a visit to Nizwah. Thankfully, I was successful in booking a city tour, although it was relatively expensive as the company only arranged these on a per car basis and I was a group of one.
I spent the rest of the morning relaxing by the pool as the heat built up inexorably, although at least today, unlike the previous day, there was a sea breeze from time to time to provide a measure of relief. At lunchtime, I considered taking a taxi to somewhere of interest. Consulting the city tour programme, however, it seemed that I was due to cover all the main sights the following morning. This being the case, and not wishing to spend the entire day lazing around, I thought I'd settle for a late afternoon walk in the area immediately surrounding the hotel, which was mostly occupied by expensive looking private houses. I thought that, by leaving it until around 3:30, the worst of the afternoon heat would be over. Maybe it was, but it was nevertheless extremely hot.
I had another lazy evening as well, taken up with a nice room service dinner and another movie.
