This is: Round The World 2006-07
Yes, it was another of those days that must have started at some point during a flight :-

Manchester Airport, not for the first time, proved to be a very
strange place to be in transit. I and a couple of other passengers
tried to follow the transfer signs, but we were intercepted and
asked to do strange things such as go to the normal Passport Control
desks then back-track through the queuing people once we'd been seen
there
Anyway, I eventually made it to the familiar territory of the BA
Terraces lounge, which I've always thought is one of the better
examples of its type outside London, and I waited there for my
first-ever flight with the newly-formed BA Connect.

In contrast to my experience three weeks previously, my suitcase
appeared - and quickly too! In fact the whole process of getting
home, which could have been quite messy without the car, worked
remarkably smoothly. Two bus rides and a train journey later, I'd
made it home by a very creditable 1130. Part 2 was over and the
detailed planning could begin for Part 3!
