Hotel relaxation and spa therapy
We had set today aside as a day of rest at our base in Kochi, the Crowne Plaza. The day began with breakfast as usual at Mosaic, following which we made a brief visit to the small second-floor pool outside our breakfast venue before relocating to the main pool area at ground level.

In due course, I returned to the second floor and had an al fresco lunch at Mosaic while Bruce was having a massage at the Sohum Spa. My own 90-minute massage was booked for 3pm. When the time came it proved to be an excellent experience, and amazingly good value. There was still an opportunity for more poolside relaxation afterwards.

Evening cocktails and the last genuinely Indian
dinner of the trip (as it turned out) were at Trilogi, and
once again this proved to be an excellent choice.
