Not much to report today! After that late night watching the Presidential inauguration, I had a bit of a long lie-in. Even after breakfast, I felt too lazy to try to squeeze in a last piece of sight-seeing, preferring instead simply to relax and pass the time at the hotel until my late checkout time of 2pm. I had a final room service lunch when the time came and then did the last of the packing.
In retrospect, I probably made a small mistake at this point by relocating to the airport immediately following checkout. As PEN isn't the greatest terminal in the world, I'd have been better staying in the hotel for another couple of hours. Still, no damage done. The SQ lounge was on the small side, but was nice enough, being nicely split up with partitions. It also managed to put on a hot and cold buffet.
Eventually it was time to make my way to the gate for boarding.

Changi was as effortless as ever and, having completed the formalities and retrieved my suitcase, it was a relatively easy job to make my way to Terminal 3 and from there into my latest accommodation at the still very new Crowne Plaza.
What a lazy day!
