Temples, Gardens and a Night Safari!

It was another fine, sunny day in Singapore. I started out with the intention of walking to the Little India district, but on the way came across more Chinese culture in the shape of a couple of temples and some street markets. I eventually made it to my original objective, but didn't find the area all that photogenic.

Next, I rode the MRT to the Jurong district, with the intention of visiting the Chinese and Japanese gardens there. I had a good look around the Chinese Garden, but decided not to do the Japanese Garden as the midday sun was searing and there were few opportunities to take refuge from its intensity.

Later in the day, JC and I met up for a quick evening meal, before heading off to Singapore Zoo to do the highly popular Night Safari. Time was limited due to my need to be up at 5am the following morning, but we managed to do the tram tour and bit of walking as well. The whole experience seemed to be exceptionally well done and we both thought it would be worth a re-visit at some future time.
