September 2017 brought another opportunity to spend a few days in Bristol as a guest of Bruce, prior to our trip to Iceland.
Clifton
Situated west of Bristol city centre and adjacent to the Avon Gorge, Clifton is one of the oldest and most affluent parts of the city. Notable sights include Clifton Down, Clifton Observatory, Isambard Kingdom Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Zoo, Clifton Cathedral, and the Royal West of England Academy of Art.
Bristol Museum and Art Gallery
We're not done with Clifton just yet. This impressive facility is also located within the district, although it is only a short distance from the city centre.
