June 2015: Bradford on Avon
Bradford on Avon, not to be confused with its much larger near-namesake in West Yorkshire, is an attractive small town near the western edge of Wiltshire, less than eight miles from Bath. The town's setting in a narrow gorge of the Avon, together with a fine array of handsome Georgian buildings, make Bradford on Avon a worthwhile calling point while in the Bath or Bristol area.
