February 2008 : 'Knights of Malta' Do
The purpose of this, my
third visit to Malta, was to take part in the Knights (and Dames!)
of Malta Do, the latest 'away' get-together by (mainly) BA frequent
flyers. It was probably the biggest such event to date. The Do
provided a wonderful opportunity to meet up with many of the
regulars and also to make some new friends, all in the context of
some glorious winter weather - think blue skies and 18C / 65F. By
universal agreement, this was a superbly well organised event,
allowing us to combine socialising with some serious sight-seeing.
However the number of early-morning no-shows did tend to indicate
that, for some, the former was a higher priority than the latter!
Our host for the Do was
Justin - that's him on the cannon - and thanks and congratulations
are due for all the hard work that went into making this event such
an outstanding success. Well done, that man!
