July 2007 : The Machrie, Islay

Our base for Island Do 2 was The Machrie hotel, a small and traditionally Scottish hotel that featured lodges in addition to normal hotel rooms. The attached golf course proved to be a major attraction for many of the patrons, albeit not our group. Although the accommodation could hardly have been more convenient for the airport, sound-proofing was not required
