July 2005: InterContinental, Berlin
This was another highly enjoyable
InterContinental stay in an excellent and attractive hotel. The
location is very central and yet relatively quiet. Status
recognition was also good : I was allocated a top-floor corner suite
in the West Wing. The receptionist described it as a junior suite,
but it definitely seemed like a full suite to me, with a small
vestibule area, lounge / work area, separate bedroom and bathroom.
The views were amazing. I didn't get Club access, this being in the
East Wing, but with breakfast included in my rate and a
complimentary mini-bar at my disposal, it hardly mattered
