Hotel 6

Hilton, Boston Logan Airport

In contrast to the first hotel of the trip, this airport Hilton had a striking, modern appearance and a distinctly premium feel. Although a shuttle bus was available, I found that it was perfectly feasible for an able-bodied person to walk from the terminals, even with luggage. The hotel had spacious public areas, comfortable rooms and an attractive Executive Lounge. Under Massachusetts law, however, the lounge was obliged to charge for alcoholic beverages.

Based on its proximity to the airport and the transport options from there to downtown Boston, this hotel might even be worth considering as a base for a visit to the city.
