This is: Round The World 2015
It was Thursday 26 November 2016 - Turkey Day, and time for our very own long-haul, first-class Thanksgiving! We skipped on breakfast at the hotel and instead quickly packed and took a busy hotel shuttle bus to the airport. This managed to take a ludicrous 45 minutes to reach the British Airways-owned Terminal 7, now devoid of its former joint-occupant, United. After a particularly easy check-in and passage through Security, we passed the remaining time and had a light first breakfast of the day in the BA Galleries First lounge. Despite being a lot quieter than on previous occasions, especially once the day flight to London had gone, the lounge somehow didn't strike me as feeling as special as I thought it should have - although the first of the photos (below) looks reasonable enough and there was smoked salmon on offer. Either way, it was certainly a whole lot better than sitting out in the main concourse.

General boarding was already well underway when we made our way to the gate to join the flight that would carry us across the top of the world, keeping us entertained and in the lap of luxury for the rest of this special day.
