Hotel 1
Steigenberger Airport Hotel, Frankfurt Airport
As previously, with the two new Hilton properties at Frankfurt Airport still not open, I chose this hotel as it offered better value for money than the more convenient Sheraton. Once again I had an Executive room, but unlike the previous time, this one did not resemble a junior suite. Although I previously mentioned the lack of points-earning potential in a major hotel loyalty scheme, the stay did earn me 500 miles in Lufthansa's Miles & More programme.
