This is: Round The World 2004
Kahului, Maui (OGG) - Honolulu (HNL)
To be honest, there's not a great deal to say about this one. As I passed through the first few rows of the cabin, I couldn't help wondering what had become of Row 3. First Class was made up of Rows 1 and 2; Coach started in Row 4. One of life's little mysteries, I suppose
Once again, using my not-patented-but-maybe-should-be seat selection method , I came up with 11A. We had a really quite light load, certainly no more than 40% and probably a good deal less. As previously, the plane seemed very new and the presentation was immaculate.
We pushed back from the stand at 1102 on my watch, after sitting around for quite a period just waiting for our time. After a short taxi, we were airborne by 1106, the engines again more of a distant whoosh than a roar. The service was as before and in no time at all, we were on the approach into HNL, touching down at 1124. We arrived at 1128, comfortably up on the schedule.
